1. Acceptance of Terms
By using LIQ Tutors — whether through our website, Telegram bot, or mobile application — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform. These terms apply to all users including parents, tutors, and visitors.
2. Our Services
LIQ Tutors connects parents with vetted home and online tutors across Ethiopia. We facilitate the matching process, collect booking requests, verify tutor qualifications, and coordinate tutoring agreements. We are not responsible for the direct delivery of tutoring sessions but ensure quality through our vetting and feedback systems.
3. User Responsibilities
Parents agree to provide accurate information when submitting booking requests and to treat tutors with respect. Tutors agree to provide accurate qualification documents, maintain professional conduct, and fulfill their tutoring commitments. Both parties agree not to misuse the platform or engage in fraudulent activity.
4. Payments & Fees
Tutoring fees are agreed upon between LIQ Tutors and the parent at the time of booking. Payments are made monthly. LIQ Tutors retains a service fee from each payment. Late payments may result in suspension of tutoring services. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
5. Cancellations & Termination
Either party may cancel a tutoring arrangement with reasonable notice. LIQ Tutors reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to meet our quality standards. Tutors who consistently miss sessions without notice may be removed from the platform.
6. Tutor Verification
All tutors on LIQ Tutors undergo a verification process including document review (national ID, educational certificates) and background assessment. While we strive to verify all tutors thoroughly, LIQ Tutors cannot guarantee the accuracy of all submitted documents and encourages parents to provide feedback after sessions.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the LIQ Tutors platform including logos, text, and educational materials is the property of Swift Technologies PLC. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
LIQ Tutors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services in the month in which the issue arose.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via Telegram or email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
